The environment is unlike anywhere else. You have inspiration everywhere, and you really feel like you're doing some of the most important work of your life. You feel like everything you do has a direct impact, and you're a stakeholder.
The VPs and CEO are not removed either. It's common to see them eating lunch on campus amongst everyone else.
Even though they are in Cupertino, there are very flexible transportation options: from shuttles to several train stops, to large luxury coaches that go all the way north to San Francisco and south to Santa Cruz.
The commute may get old, but it's hard to complain when they provide you with so many transportation options.
