Pros

Interns could access the same benefits as full-time employees, and this is part of the reason why the interview process is lengthy. The division of work and each team is clear, and people are nice for newbies to ask questions.

Cons

The job itself doesn't require much prior engineering knowledge, but statistical concepts seem more important. There isn't a specified mentor for the new hire, but people are pretty much accessible when you need help.
