Apple manufacturing places a strong emphasis on getting their interns to interact with suppliers & contract manufacturers face to face. You'll spend a lot of time in China, which is incredibly valuable professional experience as well as just a lot of fun.
Culture is heavily team-oriented, so you won't get a ton of opportunity to meet other Apple employees not doing work directly adjacent to yours.
Workweeks in China are 6 days.
