Many projects in a year, so the learning curve is very good.
Deadlines are tight, with more and more projects coming in each year.
Management is really pathetic in the Silicon post-validation role at IP level.
I uploaded my resume and got a phone screen from a software engineer. They asked about my resume and I did a practice problem. I did not hear back since and never got to the second round.
This was three years ago. There was an HR round at first, then a technical interview, and an on-site interview at the end. The technical interview requires a 45-50 minute session of either coding or basic analog questions.
Overall smooth. Had 3 interviews: one behavioral and 2 technical. Heavy system design and debugging. Interviewers were nice, standard interview format with an introduction and then mostly technical questions. Some OOP concepts needed as well.
