Pros
  • Work can be very meaningful.
  • Work is plentiful.
  • Moving to other teams is encouraged.
  • A great place for a go-getter, as there is always more to take on.

Non-Work:

  • Pays great.
  • Very friendly, open, and relaxed workplaces.
  • Some company events.
  • Free snacks and great lunches (paid).
  • Great discounts.
Cons
  • Disclosure paranoid, such that information is hard to get to.
  • It's hard to find out who you need to talk to.
  • Everyone is very busy, so you're often on your own.
  • The company is divided between hardware, software, and everyone else.
  • There is little to no consistency across teams and worse, across orgs.
Advice to Management
  • Focus more on teaching your interns something instead of using skills they already have.
  • Communicate with other intern managers to see what their interns get.
