Apple allows overtime for contractors. I did not need to get permission from my manager to log overtime.
The cons of being a contractor are the cons of being a contractor anywhere else.
I found Apple is more inclusive to contractors than another big tech company I worked at.

Overall smooth. Had 3 interviews: one behavioral and 2 technical. Heavy system design and debugging. Interviewers were nice, standard interview format with an introduction and then mostly technical questions. Some OOP concepts needed as well.
