Challenging Place to Work, But Very Rewarding
Work is impactful and most of the time part of a shipping product. Extremely talented colleagues to work with. The company thinks several years out and plans for the future well.
Long hours and tight project schedules mean the company struggles to push its best internal talent forward. It's highly secretive and siloed, making it difficult to explore what else is going on inside the company besides what you are working on.
Don't neglect the top performers in the company. Develop and promote them as leaders so they decide to stay. Offer more opportunities to work on projects that may be unrelated to the day-to-day work but still valuable to the company. This will keep folks engaged and interested in where the future of the company is headed.
