Algorithms Engineer Intern
A motivating workplace and a great company mission drive the delivery of great products. There's an amazing diversity of work being done in different parts of the company, with lots of employee resources and networks. Despite how large the company is, the culture makes it feel small and much more personal than I expected.
The location in Cupertino is definitely the biggest drawback. There is not much going on in the town, and it is very far from the city (about 1.5 hours by train and an hour by car). It's a very expensive place to live.
I don't think I have enough experience to have much knowledge about this. I've only worked at Apple for a 3-month internship.
From my limited interaction with management, I don't have any negative things to say.

Overall smooth. Had 3 interviews: one behavioral and 2 technical. Heavy system design and debugging. Interviewers were nice, standard interview format with an introduction and then mostly technical questions. Some OOP concepts needed as well.
