Pros

Getting to work on the latest and greatest wireless gadgets, such as iPhones and iPads.

Getting the opportunity to work on the latest wireless technologies, including LTE, IMS, and SIP.

Opportunity to work with multiple groups of people, including QA, dev, product/project management, external vendors, hardware, and network operators.

Being able to build products that people love to use.

Cons
  • Work/life balance is not there.
  • Apple doesn't necessarily groom their employees to learn a specific skillset; they will simply hire someone who already has the skillset.
  • There is no one to help you out initially, and it is extremely easy to get lost in all the confusion.
