You get to see your work come to fruition.
Apple is not a great place to grow as a software engineer. Our practices are a decade behind Google, Facebook, Netflix, etc. The quality is poor. We have a long way to go.
Also, work-life balance is terrible if you work on a customer-facing product.
Do the execs actually use Apple products? I encounter egregious bugs every day using mine. Nobody seems to care and is always looking ahead. Focus on quality and stop chasing profits.
