Pros
  • Brand image.
  • Benefits such as health care, 2 days optional work from home, and 1 month remote are good.
  • Good working environment. You can expect to work alongside a great pool of smart people.
Cons
  • A lot of overtime. Managers expect you to work coordinating with global partners and deliver your individual assignments.

  • Prioritization is quick even when requirements are not ready. This exposes the weakness in project assessments by PMs and causes multiple assignments at the same time.

  • Salaries are not the base industry standard for all employees. Some benefits are also based on what you negotiate upfront. If you fail to negotiate early, chances are it will be hard to catch up later.

Advice to Management

Focusing on employee development could boost overall profitability. Political battles often demoralize the team, hindering their ability to deliver what they are capable of. Sometimes, innovation lies in small, subtle ways rather than a radical, revolutionary idea.
