Let your direct manager do his/her job. Don't go around them or make threats to their direct reports. It is very confusing to get feedback from your manager and then a call from his manager with conflicting input.

Found me on LinkedIn. The recruiter was very detailed, thorough, and honest. They gave notice when schedules needed to change. Interviews with the group team members were great. They were on time, efficient, and left a good impression of the working
Overall smooth. Had 3 interviews: one behavioral and 2 technical. Heavy system design and debugging. Interviewers were nice, standard interview format with an introduction and then mostly technical questions. Some OOP concepts needed as well.
