Pros: Most colleagues are hardworking, humble, and helpful people. They make the extremely bad WLB, low pay, brainwash style company culture slightly better.

Cons: Incompetent and inconsistent middle management. They recently hired some experienced manager that are great, but there are certain managers with extremely high attrition. I’ve observed whole team of engineers leaving in under a year due to bad management, and they’ve done nothing to improve. To avoid having to work with bad managers, please make sure you ask: 1. “Are there any engineers that have worked on your team for more than 1 year? I would like to talk to them.” 2. Check their LinkedIn, if they’ve never been a manager before Applied and their team has high attrition, they are most likely a bad manager.

Pros: Experience depends on the team.

Cons: Pretty intense working hours and environment, which can be a pro and a con as well.

Pros: Fast product iterations, a strong team and engineers, and relatively easy to get into.

Cons: This place feels like a total cult. The dishonesty runs from top leadership all the way down to recruitment. They’re so afraid of their toxic culture being exposed that they pressure employees into writing fake positive reviews. This company is run by people who lack empathy. They pretend to support your growth but just overwork you. It’s a consulting firm disguised as a tech company, with no real vision. If you value honesty and dignity, you won’t fit their toxic culture. Don’t join unless you’re truly desperate.
