The business outlook is good. The company has lots of cash.
Senior leadership is extremely toxic and lacks empathy towards engineers. They use various techniques to force employees to work excessive long hours. The internal employee survey is made non-anonymous deliberately. The only true anonymous third-party employee survey was a PR campaign that the HR and recruiting team created to win a "best employer" award. They literally created a thread to instruct people on giving 5 stars to every question and asked people to beware of the trick questions that were put in place to prevent fake responses. If you work at Applied Intuition and don't think this is one of the most toxic companies, you are either senior management or delusional. If you have an offer, read this review and still decide to join, you must be desperate for a job.
1 online tech round. Virtual onsite: 3 tech rounds + 1 hiring manager round. The coding questions are difficult. If you passed, it moved super fast, and you could ask for feedback when being rejected.
Fast interview, smart and friendly team. The team provided a warm lunch, and we chatted during lunch. They introduced me to other teammates from different teams. Four 45-minute in-person interviews.
Calls with the recruiter and team, then system design relevant to the team, and coding questions. Ample preparation is needed, and asking clarifying questions is critical during the interview.
