Pros
  • Opportunity to take on many new projects if you are motivated and develop your skills.
  • Talented and humble coworkers.
  • The company is structured to adapt quickly to market changes, meaning business has continued to grow despite the turbulence of the past couple years.
Cons
  • General feelings of disdain towards employees coming from upper management.
  • Significant equity growth has already happened, making the current equity-heavy compensation less attractive.
  • Easy to burn out if you don’t set boundaries.
Advice to Management

Showing employees you care about them takes more than just providing free food and more PTO. You need to demonstrate that you are listening to their grievances and are willing to sometimes change company culture to address them.
