It's incredibly satisfying working here with a million things to do every day, and all of them are impactful. I worked at big tech before and was pulling my hair out in boredom near the tail end of my stint.
People here are great to work with; there's a high talent density, and folks are always friendly.
The culture of the company is always improving. I saw some problems with code quality when I first joined, but saw marked improvements, and leadership listened when engineers shared this feedback.
Business fundamentals are solid. Series F investors are a great proxy.
Compensation increased 8x in a span of 4 years.
Do not join if you want work-life balance. This is a startup; you will work hard every day. You will have to work on anything and everything to make your team successful and do it well, all at the same time (long-term projects, 0-1 projects, customer support).
This is a performance-based culture, so some people will love this, and others will hate it. Don't join if you want to coast. This is probably where some of the alarming reviews here on Glassdoor are about (people were fired and pushed out because their performance was not there).
1 online tech round. Virtual onsite: 3 tech rounds + 1 hiring manager round. The coding questions are difficult. If you passed, it moved super fast, and you could ask for feedback when being rejected.
The interviewer was very nice and helpful throughout the whole process. The question was hard to implement within 45 minutes, to be honest. Good experience overall, but I didn't get to move forward.
Self-introduction and brief project introduction for 5 minutes, and then coding problems. The thought process was straightforward, but implementation details were hard. I did not make it all correct in the end; it had a sharp, abrupt ending.
