Pros: Projects are fast-paced and technical. Engineers have the opportunity to have total ownership of projects. There is lots of room to grow as an engineer.

Cons: Bureaucracy and misalignment of priorities by upper management cripple the growth and progress of projects. Projects are wasted from mismanagement.

Pros: Lots of good training. You can learn lots of things. Lots of smart people. You take care of lots of things: design, simulation, testing.

Cons: Long work time. No pay for weekend work. Every project progress review is conducted. OK salary. Not good compensation for the long hours.

Pros: Highly technology oriented. It's a company filled with all sorts of highly skilled engineers that make the ideas come true. You stay with AMAT because you enjoy working with knowledgeable people or experienced people. However, the company can treat its employees much better than what it can do now. We are proud of being part of it, but the top management should do something to show they are proud of having the employees working for it.

Cons: Compensation and reward awarded after you did a good job.
