Software Engineer Interview Experience - Rehovot

Process

Very long and frustrating.

Online interview. Then home assignment. Then office technical interview. Director interview.

They kept me hanging by a thread. They told me that they try to solve it too, which makes me think I did the job for them for free.

They scheduled all interviews to one hour. In reality, it lasted three hours each!

The director failed me and I have no idea why. It lasted 30 min on Zoom, and he actually read the questions from a form and just wrote my answers. I barely had any discussion with the rude dude.

Questions

Home assignment: create a program in Java that encrypts, decrypts, and XORs.

And to re-decrypt an array of ints to the original string only by key length. (Very difficult if you don't have the key string).

Second interview: behavioral and Spring Boot REST API assignment.
