Compensation skews too much to higher management
Stable, can learn a lot from working here, reasonable policies overall.
Pay is quite low for normal rank workers, not matching the current market rate.
Management/HR just refuse to adjust pay to match the average market rate for current workers, so many people left for competitors who can offer much better compensation and faster career growth.
So Amat's policy is discouraging loyalty and encouraging us to jump around, because that is the only way to move up in rank and pay.
Don't think they care.
