Pros

Cutting edge, industry leader, well-funded.

Cons

Perpetually understaffed, cliques push new hires to isolation. Nepotism leads to an extreme lack of accountability for unsafe work practices, which will put you in danger if you work hands-on with the tools.

Turnover rate is huge for this position for good reasons.

Advice to Management

Revamp it. The old structure is complacent about the clear and present dangers. New managers are undermined by the dangerous and almost mob-like structure.
