Pros

inclusive culture, and decent benefits

Cons

Converting from contractor to RFT includes a lowball offer that you must fight tooth and nail if you want to keep the contractor level of pay.

Talent brought in from outside the company is often paid more than experienced current employees.

The company buys back stock instead of paying the workers more, or paying for 100% of insurance like smaller companies do.

Advice to Management

Hire from the plethora of skilled, degreed engineers you have working on the manufacturing floor instead of from outside the company.

It is quite offensive to ignore the talent you already have in favor of fresh college grads who will take any pay in order to gain experience.
