You'll learn your role well, but management is what will keep you from staying there longer

Pros

People are generally friendly and don't mind to help you out when needed. Career growth and learning are available, especially for those who genuinely want to make a difference.

Cons

Heavy micromanaging during meetings, which are hardly productive. Open communication to discuss improvements is dismissed. Management cannot get out of its own way, refuses to see the root cause of self-inflicted bottlenecks, and will go after people just to cover up for its own willful ignorance.

Advice to Management

Listen to people who are working on the floor from all facets of the process.

Respect the work being done by not undermining and sabotaging people's jobs.

Look for solutions instead of assigning blame when it's most convenient.
