Been at the company for a while and see myself sticking around for the long term. The work is engaging and fast-paced, and there's a lot of opportunity to learn new things.
I get the feeling that the company/CEO truly care for their employees and want to see them succeed. I enjoy the company culture and all the usual tech perks, team dinners, company outings, etc.
Company org structure is still evolving with no explicit paths on moving up. Usually, if you continue improving and doing great work, you'll move up when you pretty much expect yourself to move up, but at times it can feel like you're making no progress. There's also little feedback through the year, with only one yearly review.
Some managers seem to always be working, which could lead employees to feel like they need to always be working. I'm guessing as teams grow, the workload will spread out better all around, but employees should make an active effort for work/life balance, which the company does support.
Keep doing what you're doing. There are always places to improve, but for the most part, you've built something special here.
