I submitted my resume, and HR called me for a brief screening to see if the position was a good fit. After that, a technical interview was scheduled. The interview focused mostly on data structure concepts and language fundamentals.

Then, I was invited for an onsite interview, which was planned to last five hours.

The onsite interview was very broad. Interviewers asked questions about algorithms, as well as knowledge and experience-based questions, ranging from bug-tracking systems to databases. If you are a student with little experience, then this is definitely not a good match for you.

The aspect that severely hurt me is that the interview was planned for five hours, but I was almost "expelled" in the middle with the excuse of "no good match for this position."
