The internship experience at Apptio is awesome. Everyone treats interns well. The company provides free drinks and snacks every day. Interns have chances to go to different fun events and meet with senior management during lunch. The workload is not heavy, and you can definitely learn lots of good software development practices when interning at Apptio.
The company vision should be clear.
The internship program is great. I would like to see Apptio growing fast in the future.
The interview process consisted of: * First round with HR. * Second technical round. * Third technical round. * Fourth and Fifth rounds with the Hiring Manager in the US. The HR representative was very rude to me. He assumed I knew everything, when
Recruiter call, followed by two rounds of technical interviews and a behavioral round with the manager. Technical interview 2 was harder and less logical in my opinion (DS/algo, but the algo was more of a trick than anything).
The recruiter was extremely unprofessional. I tried scheduling a call with the recruiter within a week, but instead, they picked a date months out that conflicted with my surgery. I notified them about the conflict, and they sent me an auto-rejection
