Process

I am a C++ developer with 15 years of experience.

An HR representative contacted me via LinkedIn, and we had a lovely conversation. She described aspects of the interview process as follows:

  • First round: 1-hour screening with live coding.
  • Second round: 2 hours, including live coding.
  • Third round: Behavioral.

I asked for more time (1 month) for preparation, as I expected typical LeetCode rounds. However, HR was uncomfortable waiting that long. So, we agreed on three weeks until the first round.

I had the first round, which I did not pass well. In general, it consisted of basic knowledge questions, nothing extraordinary. I would say my lack of sufficient preparation in LeetCode had a detrimental effect. Although I was able to complete the coding task with some help from the interviewer, it went way slower than expected for tasks of such difficulty.

Questions
