Software Engineer Interview Experience - San Diego, California

Process

It was a 45-minute phone interview. I needed to log in via SSH and code based on C.

The .c source files were provided, and I had to design a function within them.

There were supposed to be two coding problems. However, I spent almost 30 minutes on the first one, though it was easy. Consequently, there was not enough time to finish the second.

So, the interviewer asked me about two functions in the second source file instead of letting me code.

In conclusion, I finished the first problem bug-free and discussed the second source file.
