Process
The interviewer called me at the time I had signed up for via Google Calendar. I was asked to connect to their remote server via SSH.
On the server was a C file and a header file, and the question was defined within these files. I was allowed time to read the question and look through the files, and given one hour in total to do so and complete the problem.
Questions
Given a singly-linked list with duplicate integer key values, write a function that, given the head of the list and an integer value, deletes all nodes with the given key.

Great place to intern

Pros: Arista is a very young company, with a very freeform structure. Interns were given a lot of freedom, and everyone is expected to be self-accountable.
I was able to work on some very core parts of their software and push code to production only a few weeks in. Everyone I talked to seemed extremely smart and quite diverse, and everyone appeared to enjoy their work.
There is basically zero hierarchy in the company, and everything seemed very transparent.
Cons: One of the downsides of the lack of structure is that each intern's experience was different, based on what their mentors were working on. This also meant that we each seemed to get a lot of exposure to one project, but not much elsewhere. I did, however, have a much shorter internship than most others, and I believe a couple of interns did switch projects halfway through.

Cons: They withheld raises in the year of 2023 across the board because of the current market.

Great company culture

Cons: Bigger company than I’m used to working for, comes with its challenges of needing more approval/permissions. Better than other big companies as it’s engineering driven and runs a little like a startup still.
