At Arista Networks India, I had the opportunity to work with outstanding and cooperative engineers. Cooperation is instilled in the Arista culture by the virtue of their unique peer review system.
The flat hierarchy ensured that my view, even as a fresher, was as important as anyone else in the team. Moreover, most of the managers are Software Engineers promoted to the managerial position. This helped in my compatibility and rapport with the manager.
I got the freedom to work at my own pace and spend some time daily to learn about upcoming technologies. The quality of work also forced me to be on my toes at all times and to update myself frequently. All these efforts were also well recognized by my peers and management, which reflected in compensation adjustments.
I think Arista can work on improving the corporate benefits, such as food cards or in-office lunch, for its employees. With the introduction of corporate cab accounts, I think Arista India is already taking steps in this direction.
Please ensure that as the number of employees increases, the core culture and values at Arista are retained.
