Pros
  1. Steep learning curve, especially for freshers.
  2. Very friendly atmosphere; everyone tries their best to help you.
  3. Extremely knowledgeable colleagues, with many being stalwarts of the networking industry.
  4. Beautiful office with spacious cubicles.
Cons

A. Perks at Arista are pathetic.

  1. No flight tickets or free accommodation for people joining straight out of college, something which most other companies offer.
  2. No free lunch, again something not at par with industry standards.
  3. No cab facility.
  4. Overall the facilities are average, sometimes frugal to be honest.

B. Other Cons

  1. Work is very specific to Arista only; skills acquired are largely non-marketable outside Arista.
  2. Automation-heavy systems require you to learn their internal tools, and for freshers, it can be overwhelming.
  3. Little or no offsite opportunities, except for senior management.
  4. Difficulty to switch to other domains after a few years of experience.
Advice to Management

Please look into employee retention. HRs should take care to ensure that employees stick around. The lack of basic facilities is a huge downside to an otherwise good company. It may be difficult for you to understand what a hassle it is to not have initial accommodation for freshers or not have free lunch. Try to improve on these fronts, as Arista is growing towards becoming a big company.
