The learning curve here is steep, and it is an amazing place for anyone interested in computer networks. There aren't any fluffy teams here like there are in Cisco or Juniper; all teams deal with the core networking technology. Additionally, both the Indian and US teams get similar kinds of work.
Good starting point for freshers, since they can get a lot of help from everyone around, and compensation isn't (at least it shouldn't be) a big deal for them.
Great work-life balance.
There are a lot of cons when it comes to compensation and hikes.
You will realize at one point that juniors in the company hired from Cisco or Juniper would be getting significantly higher than you.
Arista has a flat hierarchy. This might seem like a plus point, but it's not. I repeat, Arista's flat hierarchy plus their performance review system is flawed to a great extent. They claim to have "review" bands according to which hikes and bonuses would be given, but this is just a way to cover their pay disparities.
If you are an engineer in Cisco or Juniper, you can consider shifting to Arista since they will bend over backward to meet your demands. Otherwise, stay away. The attrition rate here is very high, and several employees are looking to shift soon.
If you are on a hiring spree, make sure that you take care of existing employees before getting in new ones with a significantly higher pay scale, who have lesser experience.
Interview Process: * Online assessment * DSA round * Design round (Technical Director) * HR round I only finished the first two rounds. The online assessment included three coding questions, all of which were easy. In the DSA round, there was one
It was smooth. HR and interviewers were quite helpful. HR had to schedule the interview multiple times as I was busy and asked for time. Each round was approximately 1 hour and provided the CoderPad. Interviewers were looking for a working code solut
OA Round There were 4 sections: * 20 minutes for 15 MCQs. * 20 minutes: Integer to Roman. * 25 minutes: In an m*n grid with obstacles, find if (m-1,n-1) can be reached from (0,0) in less than or equal to a given time, where each movement costs 1 un
