The review system is broken. Your raise/bonus is solely dependent on the feedback of your peers, which, in a way, encourages bootlicking.
Salary is below industry levels now.
There are very few or almost no perks and benefits. They only give you 5000 Rs Ola credits in India, which will also not be adjusted to your salary in case you opt out of it.
You do not know when you might get a raise or bonus; it seems randomly decided. You get a raise when you least expect it, and vice versa.
There's no concept of levels or promotions for an employee. If you are an employee with 8 years of experience, and some newbie joins, there's a high chance both of you are designated 'Software Engineers'. Lol
No advice. You cannot expect anything from a management whose HRs have openly used the words 'we're frugal' in front of their employees.
