Arista really has a unique, flat culture, in my opinion. The motto "from engineers to engineers" is amazingly accurate. People are really smart and approachable, and it's very easy to get impressed with your peers. The work is challenging and, mainly, you have tons of opportunities to come up with something new and useful to the company, which completely embraces this culture.
The learning curve is indeed steep. You really need to be comfortable feeling like a newbie for a long time (everyone is very friendly though).
You have to put a lot of effort to learn stuff that only makes sense inside the company.
It would be really nice to have some guidance on self-management inside the company.
