Pros

Good pay. Fully remote employment.

Cons

No overtime pay.

No clear definitions of "done" for tasks, which results in arguments.

No real attempts made to resolve time zone issues; you just get shoved into a different team that's about as far away from you time-wise as possible.

No culture of proper communication with time zones in mind; expect messages five minutes before meetings as you're about to wrap up your day of work.

Culture of work that lets people get away with questioning whether some team's work makes sense at all.

Advice to Management

Set proper procedures in place for handling tasks and their descriptions, including clear definitions of done.

Implement a technical documentation process to design solutions.

Mentor those fresh out of school/university so they know how to act at work.
