Process

First, a code signal assessment, followed by an hour-long phone screen with an engineer using CodeSignal (a Google Docs-type tool).

Finally, a virtual onsite, which consists of a couple of sessions throughout the day with different people.

  1. The first is a 15-minute welcome session with your recruiter.
  2. Then, an optional 30-minute chat with an engineer who was part of an identity group you aligned with.
  3. Then, another 1-hour screen over docs, but this time with your camera on.
  4. Finally, a 2-hour session with another engineer.

The first 15 minutes are to introduce the problem and offer the opportunity to ask questions about it. Then, you code independently for 70 minutes (they leave the Zoom call). After that, they rejoin, and you do a code review together.
