Senior Embedded Software Engineer Interview Experience - Wilton, Connecticut

December 1, 2019
Positive ExperienceGot Offer

Process

Phone round of 30 minutes, and on-site 3 hours (1 hour each with 3 interviewers).

Interview questions were mostly about C/embedded concepts, pointers, and memory leak questions.

Overall difficulty was average. I did not accept an offer, as it was an 18-month contract-to-hire position, and being on an H1-B visa and currently living half-way across the country made me uncertain.

Questions

  1. Identify function pointers
  2. Explain your reasoning on how to stop memory leaks given a scenario
