In 2021, I applied for a software engineer intern position at ASML that involves working on web development technologies. The application was submitted via the company career site.

I was contacted by the HR department a few days after my application and was well updated during the application process in the coming weeks.

After around 1 month, I received a call from HR to schedule a meeting with the interviewers, who are also my mentor and colleague at the company.

During the interview, I was asked a few questions, both technical and behavioral, and showed some of the projects I worked on for school. In general, I think the whole process was quite straightforward and comfortable.

I believe that a good portfolio website and a CV that shows relevant projects will greatly improve your chances.

Technical questions: Web development topics.

Behavioral questions: Company culture, understanding of project, etc.

Demonstration on past experience: Show related projects that you have done.
