A high-tech company. That is.
Reacts slow to market and tends to lose talented people to competitors.
Quite stingy to employees, despite earning billions of dollars.
No career advancement. In order to get promoted, the faster way is to quit the company and rejoin at a higher position and salary. Only those "not so clever" will stay loyal to the company.
You hire someone from outside, who brings in a bunch of people/friends from outside and becomes the boss of every site. You are shortchanging those fighting and growing with the company for many years. Sigh!!!
