This occurred about 4 months ago, and I am bringing this up now since I was recently given an offhanded automated email that I had been declined from the college graduate program months after I had spoken to the recruiter.
I was first contacted by a recruiter who scheduled a phone interview with me the following week. She asked simple scenario-based questions then asked me to complete a coding challenge. She told me after completing the preliminary challenge she would be in contact with me within the next two weeks to schedule my first interview with a hiring manager. She even gave me articles to read about the company so I would be prepared.
In short, even though we had been in contact for 2-3 weeks, I find it off-putting that:
