Variety of work - I've been here 25 years and it is never dull.
In addition to moving around, the work within a job changes and I enjoy the challenges.
My fellow employees have helped me through personal challenges on many occasions and they do so for others, as well. The sense of community is amazing.
HR and Leadership need to slow down and think about the changes they're making, the optics of those changes, and the volume of changes at once.
Seemingly cheap on important things and foolish spending in strange areas. Example: buy Warner, build out a huge installation in downtown Dallas (to the tune of millions) to look like an entertainment company, sell off Warner, and cut employee benefits.
Huh? Foolish.
If you tell an employee for 24 years that they will have healthcare benefits subsidized in retirement, you should honor that. The leaders chastising me for being angry about it are tone-deaf. To those leaders saying "I never had that," you negotiated your salary knowing you never had that. I negotiated mine including it, therefore taking it away now is going to anger people. Culture surveys are being ignored because our feedback is being ignored.
There were technical tests (LeetCode style). They later called and set up an interview. The interview was okay and not very technical. I did not click with the interviewer.
There were several parts: 1. I applied online and sent in my resume for the AT&T Live Software Development Program position. They must have liked my resume because they sent me an email about the next step. 2. The second part was an online coding q
Total 2 rounds. 1. Recruiter call 2. Coding interview (2 questions) and questions on resume like projects you worked on, areas of interest, can you work in an open culture, etc.
