Decent work/life balance, depending on the team. Allows WFH, a decent vacation package, and unlimited sick time.
Decent when hourly. I've seen many salaried employees work 50+ hour weeks at a time. Pay is very low for the Seattle area. Recent college hires have been getting more starting pay than employees who have been with the company for 4+ years.
You're consistently being micromanaged. All the time you hear stuff like, "You're great talent," etc.
They're really trying hard to keep employees at the moment; turnover is pretty high.
If you just want to collect a paycheck and coast by, this is the place to be.
Pay market salary for the area.
There were 4 rounds of interviews, taking about 3-4 weeks. First was the OA. Second, an HR call. Third, a Technical Interview. Fourth, Behavioral Questions. Each interview is about 30 minutes to 60 minutes long.
It was a group interview with 6-8 test managers who went around the room one by one asking me questions. They repeated this about 5x around. Questions seemed to be grouped into areas: 1. Personal background. 2. Specifics about experience. 3. Manage
Pretty easy interview. They ask you about your college work and one coding question. They also like it when you talk about what AT&T is famous for or if you know something about their services.
