Finally on the right track
From a software engineering perspective:
- Focus on prioritizing the correct development options.
- Keep pay up to date.
- Aggressive hiring for open positions that was not possible earlier.
Still some holdover of an older mentality that is averse to risk-taking.
You're on the right track. But make sure not just "engineering staff" but also management staff is technically competent.
