Reasonable salaries, quality, affordable benefits. Good 401(k) match.
Lack of trust in employees, forced/artificial "collaboration" by forcing employees who had been successfully telecommuting for years back into the office, layoffs, layoffs, layoffs!
AT&T is consolidating employees into key cities (called "Collaboration Zones"), so if you're not in a key city, you'll soon find yourself out of a job. Additionally, there are the 3 golden cities (Atlanta, Dallas, and El Segundo), which is where you'll be expected to move if you want a GM job.
Trust and empower your people. You're a company that sells connectivity, so use it to run your business. You have the resources to connect people all over the world to solve problems, and you're squandering that!
Focus was on career experience. I was asked how many different positions were held and what each job entailed. There was a lot of focus on interaction with other teams. Overall, the interview was not very extensive.
Technically heavy, you must know what you say since you will be held accountable for it. Process quite fast, recruiter very helpful and responsive. Health and background check took the longest time.
The initial process is through email, followed by on-site, in-person interviews with several team members.
