Pros

The ability to shift the workload, work remotely, learn new things, and report to the US directly. These are strongly dependent on the team, though.

The biggest environments I've ever seen have tons of technologies and tons of things to do.

Cons

Depends on the team you are in, but the communication between teams or levels of management does not seem all that great.

Same boat, rowers on steroids, but some are sitting in the opposite direction.

All in all, it is a dinosaur. If you want to change something, it won't happen overnight, or a year or two.

And well, many things I could brag about, but the last being windows on workstations. Really?

Advice to Management

Pick the right people, clean up the strategies, and make them transparent. Give people more freedom. Rethink possible, doh. Make the dinosaur go away and go for a fresh, dynamic approach, with all the trends that the new markets offer.
