Telecommuting is based off of your boss; some allow it, some will fire you based off of it.
Projects can be fun or boring; it's really a matter of luck.

New workers get paid significantly more than current employees, leaving older employees with less pay that will be unlikely to catch up through yearly pay increases and progressions/promotions.
There is likely to be high turnover once employees reach 3 years and their 401k is vested, especially considering the pay disparity between current and new employees.
