Don't interview here. Atlassian doesn't care about you. This was one of the worst interview experiences ever.
The recruiter contacted me via LinkedIn and asked for a telephone interview. After I passed the telephone interview, within an hour I received an email stating they wanted me to come on-site. I provided my availability for the on-site interview and attended.
The on-site interview had four rounds, and all went really well. I was hoping to get an offer, but never heard back from them.
After four months (yes, you read that correctly—after four months!), all of a sudden, I received a message from another recruiter stating they wanted to move forward with an offer, as I had already passed the interview four months ago. They also wanted one last round with another manager from their Sydney office.
To accommodate their schedule, I interviewed on a Sunday evening. That manager didn't ask any technical questions but focused on my previous work experience. It went so well that I was expecting an offer. But, to my surprise, I received a rejection email stating they didn't want to move forward with me.
I was really frustrated and annoyed. Why would you waste my time after four months if you had already decided not to move forward with me?
