This experience was the same as many reviews for Atlassian interviews.
They will definitely down-level you, even though the feedback from each interview was great. At the end of the process, the Hiring Committee's decision will level you down.
Also, the recruiters employ a "bait and switch" tactic. The compensation they mention before you start the interview process will be different after you complete a couple of interviews. Then, they down-level the compensation again before the final interview. In the end, after completing all interviews, you get down-leveled by the committee.
I would say this is the worst and lengthiest interview I have ever had. It's not worth going through the process, especially during this tech "winter." I would say stay away and thank me later.
As a result, I rejected the offer. This is really a red flag.
Tell me about a complex project you have managed.
