It is very difficult to get shortlisted with a resume. Luckily, mine was shortlisted after applying many times.
The recruiter explained the whole interview process beforehand and the expectations as well.
The process consisted of 3 technical rounds and 2 non-technical rounds. Unfortunately, I could not go beyond the second technical round.
Round 1:
A problem with page structure was given. It was a kind of recursive problem, and the idea was to display it the same way on the front end (e.g., a directory structure). The expectation here is to explain your approach to the interviewer, ask clarifying questions beforehand, and keep the interviewer engaged in conversation. Try to list down error-handling scenarios. If you follow TDD, you might get bonus points here.
Round 2:
I was asked to implement a production-level feature toggle utility function. I tried to do it in a TDD way to some extent and showed a working solution in React. Unfortunately, I did not clear this round. I am unclear on what the expectation was here; was it more of a library function, like a package, rather than a solution demonstrated in a working project?
Production-Level Feature Toggle Implementation.
