I followed up with an internal recruiter. They rescheduled our first call last minute, which was not a problem for me.

During our call, I mentioned that Atlassian was one of the top companies I would like to work with. This may not have been good phrasing on my part. Instead of asking more questions, the recruiter laughed at me, and we ended the call. I did not hear back.

I feel like I dodged a bullet here. I am looking to work in an environment that is empathetic, non-assumptive, and intellectually honest. I would not want to be walking on eggshells there.
