Pros: Atlassian allows its employees to find their best fit within the company. I know of a lot of companies where one can get 'stuck' in whatever role they started in. Here, employees are empowered to move to new teams that are better fits for them.
I'm continually amazed at how quickly workers starting in entry-level positions move into developer, product manager, and other roles.
Cons: Employees have to pay income tax on their otherwise free lunches. (First-world problem)
